FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST TEXAS/SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO...UPDATED
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND/ODESSA TX
929 PM CDT SUN APR 13 2014

.DISCUSSION...
HAVE UPDATED THE FORECAST TO CANCEL THE RED FLAG WARNING. WINDS
HAVE DIMINISHED AREA WIDE AND CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE
NO LONGER BEING OBSERVED. A COLD FRONT IS CURRENTLY APPROACHING
THE NORTHERN PERMIAN BASIN...AND COOLER TEMPS BEHIND THE FRONT
WILL FURTHER REDUCE THE FIRE WEATHER THREAT THOUGH WINDS WILL
BECOME GUSTY FROM THE NORTH FOR ABOUT 12 HOURS.

&&

FOR POINT-SPECIFIC FORECASTS PLEASE SEE THE POINT FIRE WEATHER MATRIX
PRODUCT ISSUED BY THE MIDLAND/ODESSA NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE.
