MPH OR MORE, AND HIGH TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER FOR SOUTHEAST NEW

Another strong upper-level storm system will pass north of the region
through tonight resulting in another round of critical fire weather
across southeast and much of west Texas through mid evening. Moisture
return tonight and Monday night will generally be poor to fair south
and west of the Pecos River and fair north and east. It will remain
dry across much of the region on Monday but fire weather concerns will
ease as winds decrease significantly. Fire weather concerns may increase
again Tuesday and Wednesday, especially across western areas behind a
strong dryline.
