TO DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS...AND VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER...

.DISCUSSION...
CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER WILL EXPAND EAST INTO THE NORTHWEST BASIN AND
SOUTH INTO THE DAVIS MOUNTAINS AND MARFA AREA THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS
ARE EXPECTED TO BE STRONGER THAN YESTERDAY...ESPECIALLY IN THE
TOPOGRAPHICALLY FAVORED AREAS OF THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS. ALSO IT
WILL BE COOLER TODAY BUT AIR BEHIND THE DRY LINE WILL STILL BE
SUFFICIENT FOR SINGLE DIGIT RH/S ESPECIALLY IN THE SOUTHEAST PLAINS.
THERE IS THE LOW PROBABILITY OF DRY LIGHTNING FROM THE DAVIS MOUNTAINS
TO THE BIG BEND THIS AFTERNOON. CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER WILL LET UP
