...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING FOR
SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO...THE GUADALUPE AND DAVIS MOUNTAINS...VAN
HORN REGION...ALL OF THE UPPER TRANS PECOS AND PERMIAN BASIN AND
THE STOCKTON PLATEAU...

.REMNANTS OF TROPICAL SYSTEM ODILE CONTINUE TO DRIFT EAST ACROSS
NEW MEXICO AND WEST TEXAS TODAY.  THESE REMNANTS, ALONG WITH
ADDITIONAL MOISTURE FROM T.S. POLO OFF THE WESTERN MEXICAN COAST,
WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPLY WELL ABOVE NORMAL AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE TO
THE REGION.  HEAVY RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER PARTS OF THE AREA
DURING THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS WITH POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL HEAVY
RAIN OVER THESE SAME AREAS TODAY AND TONIGHT.  WIDESPREAD MODERATE
TO HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR, AND WITH THE GROUND
SATURATED IN MANY AREAS, ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING WILL OCCUR
ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND MUCH OF WEST TEXAS TODAY.

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH TO INCLUDE PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND
  WEST TEXAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN SOUTHWEST
  TEXAS...PECOS. IN WEST TEXAS...CRANE...REAGAN...UPTON AND
  WARD.

* THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING

* ABUNDANT MOISTURE FROM THE REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM ODILE WILL
  CONTINUE TO MOVE INTO THE REGION.  AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF
  RAIN IS POSSIBLE IN THE WATCH AREA THROUGH TONIGHT...WITH
  ISOLATED AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES POSSIBLE.

* FLOODING OF CREEKS...ARROYOS...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...AND CITY
  STREETS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
