An upper level trough is over the eastern conus with a cut off low
off the southern California coast.  This upper pattern is putting
the CWA under northwest flow aloft.  Temperatures today will be
similar to yesterday with highs in the mid to upper 80s across the
Permian Basin.

Similar conditions will persist through Thursday with another upper
trough moving southeastward over the Upper Midwest on the heals of
the previously mentioned one.  Temperatures will increase slightly
across the area on Wednesday as 850 mb temperatures increase over
the region.  Conditions are expected to remain dry through Thursday
with upper ridging impacting the area.

On Friday, a cold front associated with the upper trough over the
Upper Midwest will push through the CWA.  This front will cool
temperatures across the area into mostly the 70s and lower 80s.
There is a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms across southeast
New Mexico on Friday as a result of this front.  Any rain chances
will disappear on Saturday as upper ridging impacts the region.
Conditions will be similar on Sunday except that temperatures will
warm up slightly. An approaching upper trough will combine with the
cut off low off the western coast and will push it eastward toward
the CWA on Monday and Tuesday.  This will increase upper lift over
the region and allow for an increased chance of rain and storms.
