FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX
311 PM CDT FRI AUG 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL BE AT THEIR HIGHEST TONIGHT BEFORE WE START TO
DRY OUT AND RETURN TO A MORE TYPICAL LATE-SUMMER WEATHER PATTERN. THERE
COULD BE A FEW FIRE STARTS BECAUSE OF LIGHTNING BUT SLOW STORM MOTIONS
SHOULD ALLOW ANY RAINFALL TO EXTIGUISH FIRES. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM
A FEW DEGREES THROUGH THE WEEKEND BUT REMAIN NEAR NORMAL WHICH WILL KEEP
MINIMUM RH VALUES BETWEEN 20 TO 30 PERCENT. FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS
REMAIN LOW THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF NEXT WEEK.
