FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX
320 AM CDT TUE AUG 4 2015

.DISCUSSION...
CONDITIONS WILL BEGIN TO DRY OUT RAPIDLY BEGINNING TODAY AS
AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE BUILDS ACROSS THE REGION...BRINGING
AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WELL INTO THE 90S TODAY FOLLOWED
BY 90S/100S WEDNESDAY AND INTO THE WEEKEND. FUEL MOISTURE
WILL BE HIGH ENOUGH TO SUPPRESS CONCERNS FOR AWHILE...BUT
THESE WARM TEMPERATURES AND MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES
FALLING INTO THE 30S TODAY AND 20S/TEENS TOWARD THE END OF
THE WEEK WILL RAPIDLY INCREASE ERC VALUES. WINDS SHOULD
HOWEVER REMAIN TAME THUS KEEPING INITIAL ATTACK ACTIVITY LOW.
