ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE DEVELOPING
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE STRONGEST OF THESE STORMS MAY
PRODUCE GUSTY AND ERRATIC WINDS EAST OF THE CAPROCK ESCARPMENT
ALONG WITH CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES. ELEVATED TO CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER WILL DEVELOP WEDNESDAY MAINLY WEST OF THE CAPROCK
ESCARPMENT...BEFORE CRITICAL CONDITIONS LIKELY DEVELOP ACROSS
ALL OF THE CAPROCK THURSDAY WITH ELEVATED TO AT TIMES CRITICAL
CONDITIONS IN THE ROLLING PLAINS WITH FURTHER WARMING TEMPERATURES
AND WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS IN THE 15 TO 25 MPH RANGE. A COLD FRONT
WILL MOVE THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY SHIFTING WINDS TO THE NORTH WHILE
ALSO FILTERING IN COOLER TEMPERATURES.
