FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX
344 PM CDT TUE JUL 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...
THE HOT CONDITIONS OF LATE SHOULD EASE SLIGHTLY OVER THE COMING
DAYS AS A WEAK COLD FRONT EDGES INTO THE REGION. IN ADDITION...A
FEW SPOTS COULD ALSO SEE A SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM...FAVORING THE
SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE INTO THE NORTHWEST SOUTH PLAINS TONIGHT
THROUGH THURSDAY...THEN EXPANDING TO INCLUDE MUCH OF THE AREA BY
FRIDAY. ALTHOUGH NOT EVERYONE WILL SEE RAIN...THOSE THAT DO GET
UNDER A STORM COULD SEE GUSTY AND ERRATIC WINDS...LIGHTNING AND
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. OUTSIDE OF ANY STORM INFLUENCES...WINDS WILL
BE ON THE LIGHT SIDE.
