...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED TODAY FOR SOUTHEAST
NEW MEXICO...THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS...AND THE VAN HORN AREA...

Weather conditions will be favorable for fire spread in wildland
grasses.

* Relative humidity: 4 TO 8%.

* Wind: West 5 to 15 mph, higher in parts of the Guadalupe
  Mountains.

* Temperature: 8 to 10 degrees above normal.

* Fire Danger: High.

* Timing: This afternoon.

Outdoor burning and activities that cause open sparks or flames
are discouraged.
