Colder Weather Beginning Tomorrow

A strong cold front will move through the area early Wednesday bringing an abrupt end to the above normal and much above normal temperatures we have seen the past several weeks. High temperatures Wednesday (above) and Thursday (below) are not expected to get out of the 40s and 50s areawide as dense cloud cover and cold air remain in place.

Rainfall will be possible, especially Wednesday and Wednesday night across the eastern Permian Basin. Wintry precipitation cannot be ruled out, however at this time the forecast is for low temperatures to remain just above freezing and all precipitation should fall in the form of rain.
