June 10, 2008

Our 2nd Annual Rio Grande meeting held May 7 at Big Bend National Park was another success. The minutes and presentations will be posted over the next few weeks.

September 10, 2007

Daily river forecasts began on Monday, September 10, 2007. This daily product will show river level forecasts for two automatically gauged sites on the Rio Grande: 5 miles SE of Presidio and at Rio Grande Village (Boquillas). You can view these forecasts from the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service webpage by clicking on the desired site ID. To get to the tabular product, click on the "Text Products" link below the map and then on Hydrologic Statement near the bottom of the list.

July 15, 2007

Findings from the May 3, 2007 meeting were presented during the Southern Region Breakout portion of they Hydro Program Managers Conference in Kansas City on July 13. It was well recieved with many interested and several suggestions made. Download the presentation from below (it's large so it will take some time).


July 1, 2007

On July 13, information from the Rio Grande Service Improvement and Expansion Meeting will be presented at the National Hydro Program Managers Conference (Southern Region break out session) in Kansas City, Missouri. The presentation will be posted to this site once it is complete.


May 10, 2007

On May 3, 2007, the NWS and NPS BBNP co-hosted a meeting to discuss the need for additional and improved services along the Rio Grande. This meeting was very beneficial and will become an annual event. Below are the minutes from this meeting.
