On November 12, 1998, Mr. Eddie Brite, Data Acquisition Program Manager of the National Weather Service, Midland/Odessa presented a Fifteen Year Service Award to Mrs. Pattie Barnes, along with former observer Mrs. Agnes Sorrells, 101, both of Knapp, Texas.
