THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FREEZING FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF THE SOUTHERN HALF
OF ARKANSAS THROUGH 9 AM CST THIS MORNING. DUE TO ABUNDANT
MOISTURE DUE TO SNOW COVER...LIGHT WINDS...AND BELOW FREEZING
TEMPERATURES...FREEZING FOG HAS FORMED AND IN ADDITION TO LIMITING
VISIBILITIES...IT WILL CREATE A GLAZE OF ICE ON SURFACES AND ROADWAYS
CAUSING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE STATE TODAY AND BRING BREEZY
NORTHWEST CONDITIONS BEHIND IT. IN ADDITION TO BREEZY
CONDITIONS...SOME LIGHT FLURRIES MAY FALL ACROSS THE STATE WITH NO
ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

COLD TEMPERATURES WILL BE SEEN ACROSS THE STATE FRIDAY MORNING
WITH WIND CHILL VALUES DROPPING BELOW ZERO ACROSS NORTHERN
ARKANSAS. DRY WEATHER WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN
IN THE FORECAST THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WORK WEEK. WINTRY
PRECIPITATION WILL RETURN TO THE FORECAST EARLY ON SATURDAY WITH
PRECIPITATION TRANSITIONING TO RAIN DURING THE DAY ON SATURDAY.
