THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FRONTAL BOUNDARY...OVER SOUTH ARKANSAS...WILL SLOWLY LIFT BACK
NORTHWARD TODAY AND TONIGHT. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED ALONG AND NORTH OF THE FRONT. SOME STORMS COULD PRODUCE
GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. HOWEVER...ORGANIZED SEVERE
WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO SHIFT
NORTH OF THE STATE BY THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

TYPICAL SUMMERTIME CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL THROUGH MUCH OF THE
PERIOD. AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 105
DEGREES OVER PARTS OF THE STATE HEADING INTO THE UPCOMING WEEKEND.
SMALL CHANCES FOR AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXIST THROUGH MUCH OF THE PERIOD.
