THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED SHOWERS...ALONG WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS...WILL BE 
POSSIBLE TODAY AND TONIGHT ACROSS MUCH OF ARKANSAS. THE BEST CHANCES 
WILL BE OVER THE WESTERN PARTS OF THE STATE. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

UNSETTLED WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 
HOLIDAY WEEKEND. A DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM TO THE WEST WILL MOVE 
SLOWLY TOWARD THE REGION...ALLOWING MOISTURE TO BUILD NORTHWARD 
THROUGH THE SOUTHERN PLAINS STATES. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS... 
WITH HEAVY RAIN...WILL DEVELOP OVER WESTERN ARKANSAS FIRST...THEN 
GRADUALLY SPREAD ACROSS THE REST OF THE STATE SUNDAY AND INTO EARLY 
NEXT WEEK. 

DUE TO THE RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL...IT WILL NOT TAKE MUCH RAINFALL TO 
CAUSE FLASH FLOODING...AS WELL AS INCREASE LEVELS OF AREA RIVERS. A 
FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT FOR 
MUCH OF WESTERN ARKANSAS. RIVER FLOODING WILL ALSO BE SEEN. 

UNSETTLED WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF 
NEXT WEEK.
