.DISCUSSION... SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE NORTH OF THE REGION WILL
BEGIN SHIFTING FARTHER NORTHEAST INTO THE OHIO VALLEY REGION.
THIS WILL RESULT IN OUR SURFACE WINDS BECOMING MORE EASTERLY TO
SOUTHEASTERLY WITH SPEEDS GENERALLY LESS THAN 10 MPH. CLOUDS WILL
CONTINUE INCREASING FROM THE WEST AHEAD OF A DEEP UPPER LEVEL
TROUGH TRANSITIONING ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST U.S. WITH RAIN
DEVELOPING BY LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT HOURS. RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY AHEAD OF OUR
NEXT COLD FRONT WHICH WILL MOVE THROUGH LATER IN THE DAY. RAIN
WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF WITH FRONTAL PASSAGE LATE SUNDAY AND
WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST WITH MUCH COOLER AND DRIER AIR
SPILLING SOUTH ACROSS THE REGION.
