.DISCUSSION... AN UPPER LEVEL STORM OVER WEST TEXAS WILL BE
DRIFTING OVER DURING THE NEXT OR TWO WITH A WEAK SURFACE COLD
FRONT TO ARRIVE EARLY ON TUESDAY. THE FRONT IS STILL BACK IN THE
PANHANDLES OF OK/TX AT THIS TIME. UNTIL THEN INCREASING MOISTURE
ON DEEPENING SOUTHERLY WINDS. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD MONDAY NIGHT AS THE
FRONT BEGINS TO NUDGE INTO THE MID SOUTH. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF
HALF INCH TO INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH QUARTER TO HALF INCH
AMOUNTS SOUTH OF I-20. THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE MOVING A LITTLE
SLOWER THAN SOME OF THE RECENT ACTIVITY SO FAR THIS SPRING.
ISOLATED FLOODING IS ALSO POSSIBLE IN LIGHT OF THE SLOW MOVEMENT
AND POSSIBLE TRAINING THROUGH AN AREA AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT.
EXPECT NORTHERLY WINDS TO PUSH INTO NORTHERN MOST SECTIONS BEFORE
DAYBREAK ON TUESDAY...TO AROUND MID MORNING OR BY NOON AT THE
LATEST SOUTH. WE WILL DRY OUT A BIT MID WEEK WITH MORE POTENTIAL
RAINFALL LATE IN THE NEW WORK WEEK.
