.DISCUSSION... A STATIONARY FRONTAL BOUNDARY EXTENDING FROM THE
RED RIVER VALLEY OF SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA INTO EXTREME NORTHEAST
TEXAS AND WESTERN LOUISIANA THIS AFTERNOON...MAY DRIFT BACK
SOUTHWEST BEFORE OVER THE WESTERN AND SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF EAST
TEXAS LATE TONIGHT...AND MAY HELP FOCUS ISOLATED SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT TUESDAY AFTERNOON OVER THE ANGELINA AS
WELL AS LA DISTRICTS 3 AND 6. IN ADDITION...AN UPPER LEVEL LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM JUST OFF THE MISSISSIPPI COAST WILL DRIFT SLOWLY
WEST INTO SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA THROUGH MIDWEEK...AND COULD RESULT
IN ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTING LA DISTRICT 5.
MIN RH/S TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY SHOULD RANGE FROM 45-50%...BUT
20FT AND TRANSPORT WINDS WILL BE VERY LIGHT...GENERALLY 5 MPH OR
LESS OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. UPPER LEVEL RIDGING WILL
CONTINUE TO EXPAND EAST INTO THE REGION BY MID TO LATE
WEEK...WITH ONLY ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED OVER
THE AREA. WHAT MINIMAL RAIN CHANCES WE HAVE LOOK TO DIMINISH
FURTHER FOR THE WEEKEND.
