.DISCUSSION... COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL REMAIN COMMON ACROSS
EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS THIS EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. MOISTURE BEGINS TO INCREASE TUESDAY AHEAD OF
AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHING THE REGION. CHANCES FOR
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME POSSIBLE TUESDAY NIGHT AND
SPREAD ACROSS EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS WEDNESDAY.
PRECIPITATION SHOULD BEGIN TO TAPER OFF FROM NORTH TO SOUTH
THURSDAY AS THE DISTURBANCE EXITS TO THE SOUTHEAST. ONE TO THREE
INCHES OF RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF THE
REGION...WITH GREATER POTENTIAL SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40. FIRE
WEATHER DANGERS TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY SHOULD REMAIN LOW.
