.DISCUSSION... WARMER WEATHER WILL BE NOTED TODAY...WITH HIGH
HUMIDITY. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT WEATHER WILL BE TONIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS A STRONG ARCTIC FRONT APPROACHES.
PRECIPITATION WILL DEVELOP OVER MUCH OF THE STATE LATE TONIGHT
AND ON WEDNESDAY...AND WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE BEHIND THE
FRONT. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP SHARPLY...WITH PRECIPITATION
TRANSITIONING OVER TO FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW. GUSTY WINDS
WILL BE NOTED BEHIND THE FRONT. PRECIPITATION SHOULD END BY
THURSDAY MORNING...WITH COLD TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE END OF THE
WEEK. A WARMING TREND WILL BEGIN OVER THE WEEKEND...BUT
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN BELOW SEASONAL AVERAGES THROUGH THE
PERIOD.
