.DISCUSSION... HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE
MID-SOUTH THROUGH AT LEAST TUESDAY. HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL LIKELY
EXCEED 105 DEGREES OR GREATER EACH DAY. SCATTERED DAYTIME SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY PROVIDE SOME RELIEF. BY THURSDAY, A COLD
FRONT WILL APPROACH THE MID-SOUTH FROM THE NORTH. AS A RESULT,
INCREASED CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR ACROSS
THE AREA. THE INCREASED CONVECTION AND CLOUD COVER SHOULD KEEP
HIGH TEMPERATURES A TAD COOLER FROM THURSDAY THROUGH THE
BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEKEND.
