.DISCUSSION... COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE FROM THE UPPER
MIDWEST TO THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY TODAY AND EXTEND INTO THE
MIDSOUTH. CONDITIONS WILL BE PRECIPITATION FREE ACROSS THE
MIDSOUTH WITH THE ENTIRE AREA BECOMING MOSTLY SUNNY BY THIS
AFTERNOON. LIGHT TO MODERATE NORTHEAST WINDS WILL OCCUR. THE HIGH
PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE TO THE EAST SATURDAY WITH WINDS TURNING
TO THE SOUTHEAST. COLD WEATHER WILL OCCUR TONIGHT WITH
TEMPERATURES A LITTLE WARMER SATURDAY AFTERNOON. A WARM FRONT
WILL APPROACH FROM THE SOUTHWEST SATURDAY NIGHT WITH A COLD FRONT
MOVING INTO THE AREA FROM THE NORTHWEST SUNDAY. THIS WILL LEAD TO
WIDESPREAD RAIN. MUCH COLDER AIR WILL FOLLOW THE COLD FRONT
SUNDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO MONDAY. PRECIPITATION MAY CHANGE
TO LIGHT SNOW OR FLURRIES BEFORE ENDING SUNDAY NIGHT. ONLY MINOR
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS IF ANY ARE EXPECTED MAINLY FROM PORTIONS OF
WEST TENNESSEE INTO PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST MS.
