.DISCUSSION... PRECIPITATION WILL REMAIN IN THE FORECAST THROUGH
THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. TODAY...SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND NORTHERN ARKANSAS THROUGH MUCH OF THE
DAY. TEMPERATURES WILL SLOWLY WARM THROUGH THE DAY WITH NORTHERN
ARKANSAS ONLY WARMING TO RIGHT AROUND FREEZING. SNOW WILL
TRANSITION TO RAIN ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN ARKANSAS WITH
NORTHERN ARKANSAS REMAINING ALL SNOW. BEFORE MIDNIGHT
TONIGHT...PRECIPITATION IN NORTHERN ARKANSAS WILL CHANGE OVER TO
SLEET AND EVENTUALLY FREEZING RAIN AS TEMPERATURES WARM ALOFT.
RAIN WILL STAY IN THE FORECAST FOR SUNDAY AND MONDAY WITH CHANCES
FOR THUNDERSTORMS ON TUESDAY AS TEMPERATURES AROUND THE STATE
WARM SIGNIFICANTLY. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE
STATE ON WEDNESDAY WITH COLD TEMPERATURES MOVING INTO THE REGION
BEHIND THE FRONT. ANOTHER ROUND OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL BE
POSSIBLE ON WEDNESDAY AND EARLY THURSDAY BEFORE DRY WEATHER
RETURNS FOR THE END OF NEXT WEEK.
