.DISCUSSION... A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE MIDSOUTH LATE
TONIGHT. NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS
THE MIDSOUTH BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND WILL CONTINUE DURING THE
REST OF THE AFTERNOON HOURS INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. A
SQUALL LINE AHEAD OF THE FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE AREA LATE
THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. SOME STORMS MAY BE SEVERE
ACROSS MAINLY EASTERN ARKANSAS AND THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL.
LINGERING CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ON
FRIDAY MAINLY EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. OTHERWISE...HIGH
PRESSURE WILL BEGIN TO BUILD INTO THE AREA AND WILL BRING COOLER
AND DRIER CONDITIONS TO THE REGION INTO THE WEEKEND.
