.DISCUSSION... SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE HAS EASED OVER THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER LAST NIGHT AND RETURN FLOW WILL SOON MOISTEN
OUR AFTERNOON MINIMUM RH VALUES IN THE COMING DAYS.
ALOFT...SOUTHERLY FLOW IS ALREADY GOING UP TO 5 THOUSAND FEET. A
WEAK RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT OVER TEXAS IS SLIDING
SOUTHEASTWARD AS A LARGE UPPER STORM OVER CA/NV/AZ IS DRIFTING
EASTWARD NOW AND WILL BRING A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS BACK TO
OUR AREA BY LATE IN THE WEEKEND AND ESPECIALLY EARLY NEXT WEEK.
RAINFALL TOTALS MAY BE A BIT MORE SCATTERED AROUND WITH SOME
LOCALES POTENTIALLY RAINFREE AS WE TRANSISTION OUT OF EARLY
SPRING STYLE WIDE SPREAD RAINFALL TO MORE OF A CONVECTIVE HIT OR
MISS REGIME. HOWEVER...THE THREAT FOR ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS WILL
BE WITH US FOR MONTHS TO COME. CURRENTLY BACK WATER FLOODING
ISSUES SHOULD CONTINUE TO IMPROVE OVERALL WITH RAINFALL TOTALS
FOR THE NEXT WEEK AROUND A HALF INCH TO INCH FOR OUR FOUR STATE
AREA.
