.DISCUSSION... A COLD FRONT WILL BEGIN SHIFTING SOUTHEAST INTO
THE REGION THIS EVENING...WHICH WILL EXTEND FROM SOUTHCENTRAL
ARKANSAS INTO PORTIONS OF EAST TEXAS BY DAYBREAK MONDAY. WHILE
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THIS
EVENING OVER THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF EAST TEXAS...ADDITIONAL
AREAS OF SHOWERS SHOULD FILL NORTHEAST ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
HENDERSON AND LINDEN DISTRICTS...AS WELL AS SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
AND ADJACENT SECTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS OVERNIGHT BEHIND THE
FRONT...AND AHEAD OF AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE THAT WILL SHIFT
SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE RED RIVER VALLEY AND CENTRAL TEXAS. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS WILL STILL REMAIN LIGHT...GENERALLY BELOW ONE-QUARTER
INCH. THE FRONT WILL EXIT THE REGION BY MIDDAY MONDAY... WITH
COOLER AND DRIER AIR EXPECTED TO SPILL SOUTH IN ITS WAKE. MIN
RH/S MONDAY WILL RANGE FROM 50-60%...BUT FALL TO 30-40% TUESDAY
AS THE CLOUD COVER CLEARS OUT AND ADDITIONAL DRIER AIR FILTERS
SOUTH. HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE WEDNESDAY...FURTHER
DRYING FUELS FOR MIDWEEK. HOWEVER...A WEAK FRONTAL SYSTEM BEGINS
TO BACKDOOR SOUTHWEST INTO THE REGION...RETURNING SLIGHTLY COOLER
BUT ADDITIONAL DRIER AIR BACK SOUTHWARD.
