.DISCUSSION... A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER EAST TEXAS THIS
AFTERNOON HAS A WARM FRONT REACHING TO THE SOUTHEAST WILL BE
LIFTING NORTHEAST OVERNIGHT AND SUNDAY. THIS SYSTEM ALONG WITH
DISTURBANCES MOVING OVERHEAD AS THEY MOVE THROUGH THE SOUTHWEST
FLOW ALOFT AHEAD OF A CLOSED UPPER LOW TO THE NORTHWEST...WILL
CONTINUE TO PRODUCE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
THROUGH SUNDAY. IN WAKE OF THE SURFACE LOW AND WITH THE
ADVANCEMENT OF THE UPPER LOW AND WAVE INTO THE PLAINS WILL SEND A
FRONT TOWARD THE AREA...ARRIVING LATE IN THE AFTERNOON SUNDAY...
WILL PRODUCE MORE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR SUNDAY
AND INTO MONDAY. HIGH PRESSURE ON THE SURFACE AND ALOFT WILL
PROVIDE A DRY PERIOD INTO MID WEEK WHEN THE NEXT SYSTEM
APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST.
