.DISCUSSION... AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL LINGER TODAY OVER
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND EAST TEXAS...WHUCH SHOULD RESULT IN
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING THIS AFTERNOON
OVER THESE AREAS. FARTHER EAST...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD
BE MORE ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED...DIMINISHING DURING THE
EVENING. MIN RH/S TODAY SHOULD RANGE FROM 55-60%...BEFORE FALLING
SLIGHTLY TO 50-55% SATURDAY AS BETTER HEATING SHOULD RESULT IN
HOTTER TEMPERATURES. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
BY TONIGHT JUST OFF OF THE SOUTHEAST TEXAS COAST...AND MOVE TO
THE COAST SATURDAY SENDING A WAVE A SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTING PORTIONS OF EAST TEXAS AND NORTH
LOUISIANA MAINLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20. MUCH OF EAST TEXAS AND
NORTH LOUISIANA WILL AGAIN SEE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY AS THIS DISTURBANCE LINGERS ALONG THE MIDDLE
TEXAS COAST. AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN TO
BUILD WEST INTO OKLAHOMA AND ARKANSAS MONDAY...RESULTING IN
HOTTER TEMPERATURES AND DIMINISHING RAIN CHANCES. THIS TREND
LOOKS TO CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF NEXT WEEK.
