.DISCUSSION... THIS AFTERNOON AN INVERTED TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE
FROM SOUTHEAST ACROSS NORTH LOUISIANA AND INTO SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS
WAS HELPING PRODUCE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
OVERNIGHT THE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MAY LIFT BACK TO THE
NORTHWEST SLIGHTLY AND WITH NORTHERLY WINDS AROUND THE NORTHWEST
SIDE WILL CONTINUE TO HELP WITH SCATTERED CONVECTION. AS THIS
SYSTEM SHIFT BACK TO THE SOUTHEAST LATE TONIGHT AND INTO
MONDAY...WITH THE APPROACH AND PASSAGE OF AN UPPER TROUGH OVER
THE CENTRAL SECTIONS OF THE COUNTRY NUDGING A COLD FRONT
SOUTHEAST...PRECIPITATION WILL END FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST
WITH COOLER AND DRIER AIR SPREADING BACK INTO THE FOUR STATE
REGION. THIS WILL PROVIDE LOWER DEW POINTS AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY
LEVELS. WITH DAYTIME TEMPERATURES ON THE RISE UNDER HIGH PRESSURE
RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL REMAIN LOWER THAN OF RECENT WITH
DRY WEATHER EXPECTED THROUGH THE REST OF THE WORK WEEK AND
POSSIBLY INTO THE WEEKEND.
