ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION...ALTHOUGH ISOLATED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON MAINLY OVER
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND ARKANSAS DISTRICT 2...AS WELL AS EAST
TEXAS. ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY
ALSO AFFECT LOUISIANA DISTRICT 3 LATE IN THE DAY... AS AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE DRIFTS NORTHWEST INTO SOUTH LOUISIANA. MIN RH/S
THIS AFTERNOON WILL RANGE FROM 45-50%...WITH HIGHER RH/S EXPECTED
OVER THE ANGELINA AND THE SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF LOUISIANA
DISTRICTS 3 AND 6. PATCHY FOG CAN/T BE RULED OUT LATE TONIGHT IN
AREAS THAT ARE AFFECTED BY RAIN...BUT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BEGIN TO INCREASE WEDNESDAY ESPECIALLY OVER THE ARKANSAS AND
LOUISIANA DISTRICTS...WITH THE RAIN MORE SCATTERED ACROSS
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND EAST TEXAS AS THE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
DRIFTS NORTH ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF A
QUARTER TO HALF INCH...WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED
WEDNESDAY OVER SOUTH ARKANSAS AND NORTH LOUISIANA...WITH LIGHTER
AMOUNTS OVER EAST TEXAS. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
REMAIN POSSIBLE AREAWIDE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...AS THIS
DISTURBANCE LINGERS OVER THE REGION. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
SHOULD BECOME MORE ISOLATED OVER SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND EAST
TEXAS THIS WEEKEND AND INTO THE FIRST OF NEXT WEEK...WITH
SCATTERED STORMS EXPECTED TO PERSIST ACROSS NORTH LOUISIANA AND
SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS THROUGH THE PERIOD.
