.DISCUSSION... UNSEASONALLY WARM AND HUMID AIR ACROSS THE REGION
WITH AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITIES BETWEEN 50 AND 65
PERCENT...AND SOUTH WINDS OF 5 TO 10 MPH TODAY WITH A FEW
SCATTERED SHOWERS. SIMILAR CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED FOR MUCH OF
THURSDAY...ALTHOUGH SOUTHERLY WINDS MAY INCREASE TO 10 TO 15 MPH
BY AFTERNOON.  A COLD FRONT WILL ENTER THE RED RIVER VALLEY
REGION BY THURSDAY EVENING AND MOVE ACROSS THE AREA BY FRIDAY
MORNING. A GOOD CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...WITH RAINFALL OF ONE
HALF TO OVER ONE INCH CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS...ALONG
WITH STRONG WINDS POSSIBLE. WINDS WILL SHIFT FROM THE NORTHWEST
ON FRIDAY WITH THE PASSAGE OF THIS FRONT...AND AFTERNOON RELATIVE
HUMIDITES FALLING TO 35 TO 40 PERCENT ACROSS THE RIVER
VALLEY....AND 40 TO 50 PERCENT FURTHER SOUTH. A VERY DRY AIRMASS
ON SATURDAY WILL ALLOW AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY TO FALL TO
BETWEEN 25 AND 30 PERCENT...REBOUNDING BACK TO BETWEEN 40 AND 50
PERCENT ON MONDAY TO START OUT THE WORKWEEK. HOWEVER...RAIN
CHANCES WILL REMAIN LOW FOR MOST OF NEXT WEEK.
