ACROSS THE AREA. SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL PERSIST
ACROSS THE MID SOUTH UNTIL A COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH THE LOWER
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY ON FRIDAY. A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD
IN ACROSS THE REGION FOR THE UPCOMING WEEKEND. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN BY EARLY NEXT WEEK AS THE FRONT BEGINS
TO MOVE BACK NORTH AS A WARM FRONT.
