THE MID SOUTH TODAY AS A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS IN PLACE
ACROSS THE REGION. THIS WILL RESULT IN AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE
MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S. AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH AND ASSOCIATED COLD
FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TONIGHT INTO
MONDAY...BRINGING A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THEN
FOLLOWED BY COOLER AND DRIER AIR. HIGHS THIS WEEK WILL BE IN THE
70S TO LOWER 80S WITH LOWS MAINLY IN THE 50S TO AROUND 60
DEGREES.
