.DISCUSSION... HOT TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST ACROSS
THE MID SOUTH THROUGH SUNDAY AS A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS
IN PLACE ACROSS THE REGION. THIS WILL RESULT IN AFTERNOON HIGHS
IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 90S AND LOWS IN THE 60S AND 70S. AN UPPER
LEVEL TROUGH AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE
LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY...BRINGING A
RETURN OF SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES THEN COOLER AND DRIER
AIR. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 70S TO LOWER 80S WITH LOWS MAINLY IN
THE 50S TO AROUND 60 DEGREES BEHIND THIS FRONT.
