.DISCUSSION... A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL MOVE
FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS INTO THE MIDSOUTH THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS WELL AS INCREASED
CLOUDINESS WILL HELP TO MODERATE DAYTIME TEMPERATURES DOWN TO
NEAR NORMAL EARLY AUGUST VALUES. AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH
PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE MIDSOUTH FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAIN BY
THIS WEEKEND. THIS UPPER RIDGE WILL END RAIN CHANCES AND WARM
DAYTIME TEMPERATURES TO WELL ABOVE NORMAL VALUES. DAYTIME HEAT
INDICES WILL LIKELY EXCEED 100 DEGREES THIS WEEKEND...INTO EARLY
NEXT WEEK.
