.DISCUSSION... STRONG COLD FRONT EXPECTED TO MOVE THROUGH THE
STATE LATER TODAY WILL USHER IN VERY HIGH RAIN CHANCES AS WELL AS
THE THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER. SOME RAIN CHANCES WILL BE IN THE
FORECAST THROUGHOUT THE DAY TODAY...BUT THE BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN
WILL BE DURING THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS. RAINFALL WILL
LIKELY BE BETWEEN ONE HALF TO ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES. STRONG
SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL BE SEEN TODAY BEFORE A SHIFT TO
WEST/NORTHWEST LATER TONIGHT AS THE COLD FRONT PASSES THROUGH.
MUCH COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL FILTER IN BY FRIDAY AS A NORTHWEST
FLOW ALOFT SETS UP OVER THE AREA. DRY WEATHER WILL BE SEEN
THROUGH THE EARLY PART OF NEXT WEEK. WINDS WILL REMAIN OUT OF THE
NW THROUGH SATURDAY...BEFORE A RETURN TO SOUTHERLY FLOW
COMMENCES.
