Map of the Black and lower White Rivers. Extensive flooding occurred along the Black and lower White Rivers as noted in the pictures below...all of which were taken on March 22-25, 2008.

Construction was underway on a levee 1.5 miles southeast of Pocahontas (Randolph County) to protect area homes.
