| |
| Mrs. Patricia
Hart of Center Ridge, Arkansas has been a cooperative observer for
the National Weather Service for 20 years (as of March, 2005). She has been instrumental
in observing and reporting rainfall in her area. She mailed her measurements to the
National Weather Service at the end of each month. These measurements are sent to
the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, North Carolina and eventually published to
become a part of the permanent record of the world's weather. For her efforts, Mrs. Hart
received a 20 Year Length-of-Service Award from the National Weather Service. |
