The National Weather Service authors Severe and Winter Weather guides annually. The guides serve to educate the public about hazardous weather and how to prepare for severe and winter storms.

To create a booklet, open the files below and follow the quick quidelines to the right of the files. Good luck...and enjoy!

First Half of Booklet (Open and print)
Second Half of Booklet (Open and print on the back of first half of booklet)*
* keep the pages (10 of them) in order (i.e. first page/second half of the booklet should go on the back of the first page/first half of the booklet and so on).
 
Note: Each half of the booklet is roughly 1.8 MB. With a 56K modem, it should take 4 to 5 minutes per file to download. A high speed connection should download each file in less than a minute.

As the files open, you may encounter errors (such as "Error Reading Linearized Hint Data"). If there are error messages, click here.
