Severe Weather on April 4, 2011 (Damage Pictures)
 
Widespread wind damage and an isolated tornado (rated EF1) were noted in southern Arkansas on April 4, 2011. An isolated tornado (rated EF1) was spawned near Whelen Springs (Clark County) on April 4, 2011. The tornado was along a bow echo (backward C-shaped line of storms) that produced 60 to 80 mph winds in areas such as Gurdon (Clark County), Pine Bluff (Jefferson County), Glendale (Lincoln County) and Stuttgart (Arkansas County).
