An isolated tornado (rated EF1) was spawned near Whelen Springs (Clark County) on April 4, 2011. The tornado was along a bow echo (backward C-shaped line of storms) that produced 60 to 80 mph winds in areas such as Gurdon (Clark County), Pine Bluff (Jefferson County), Glendale (Lincoln County) and Stuttgart (Arkansas County). |
