A tornado (rated EF2) tracked from eastern Pope County into northwestern Conway County and southwestern Van Buren County on 01/08/2008. A tornado (rated EF2) was spawned from around Moreland (Pope County) northeast to near Appleton (Pope County), Jerusalem (Conway County) and Beverage Town (Van Buren County). The tornado tracked just over 20 miles.
