Tornado Damage and Flooding on December 20-21, 2013 (Photos)
 
Three tornadoes (rated EF1/EF2) tore across portions of Van Buren, Stone and Izard Counties on 04/10/2013. There was extensive wind damage caused by 90 to 100 mph gusts at Horseshoe Bend (Izard County). The Little Rock County Warning Area was affected by at least two tornadoes during this event. One tornado (rated EF1) cut through the Redfield (Jefferson County) area during the evening of 12/20/2013, with a stronger tornado (rated EF2) tracking through southern Desha County on 12/21/2013. The latter tornado also hit Chicot County in the Jackson County Warning Area.
 
Most structural damage caused by the tornado at Redfield (Jefferson County) was minor (roof shingles removed or trees falling on roofs).

The worst damage was along Bradshaw Road, where a portion of the roof was removed from this home.

The Chicot/Desha tornado tore up this tractor shed less than a mile south of Halley (Desha County).

Roughly five miles east-northeast of Halley (Desha County), a carport was ripped from this house and depositied on the roof.
