Tornadoes (rated EF1 to EF3) devastated parts of central Arkansas on April 25-26, 2011. On the 25th, Vilonia (Faulkner County), Fountain Lake (Garland County), and areas just north of Jacksonville (Pulaski County) were affected. There was damage in Coy (Lonoke County) on the 26th. A lot of rain fell during this time frame, and this led to flooding near Tichnor (Arkansas County). |
