NUMEROUS TREES WERE UPROOTED OR SNAPPED...WITH POWER LINES DOWNED
IN PLACES. A FEW HOMES HAD ROOF DAMAGE...AND WERE COVERED WITH 
TARPS. THE CORNER OF ONE ROOF WAS REMOVED...WITH SOME DAMAGE
INSIDE THE HOUSE. A TRAMPOLINE AND SWING SET WERE THROWN ALOFT
AND WRAPPED AROUND TREES. SEVERAL SHEDS WERE DESTROYED.

SURVEY_SUMMARY:
THIS TORNADO MOVED OUT OF CHICOT COUNTY AND ENTERED DESHA COUNTY. 
THE STATISTICS AND DAMAGE DETAILS IN THIS STATEMENT ARE FOR DESHA 
COUNTY ONLY. 

ONE MOBILE HOME WAS KNOCKED OFF ITS FOUNDATION...HAD ITS PORCH TORN 
OFF...AND HAD A LARGE METAL INTERMODAL SHIPPING CONTAINER IN THE 
BACK YARD OVERTURN AND CRASH INTO THE REAR OF THE MOBILE 
HOME...SMASHING IN THE KITCHEN WALL. A HOUSE HAD ITS PORCH TORN 
OFF...ROOF DAMAGE...A HOLE PUNCHED IN A WALL...AND BROKEN WINDOWS. 
ANOTHER HOUSE HAD A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF ROOFING MATERIAL TORN 
OFF. AT ANOTHER HOUSE...THE ATTACHED CARPORT WAS TORN OFF AND THROWN 
ONTO THE ROOF OF THE HOUSE. SEVERAL STORAGE SHEDS WERE DESTROYED... 
LARGE TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN...AND SEVERAL POWER POLES WERE SNAPPED 
OFF.

THE TORNADO EXITED DESHA COUNTY AND MOVED BACK INTO CHICOT COUNTY 
NEAR THE YELLOW BEND PORT. THEREAFTER...THE TORNADO CROSSED THE 
MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND ENTERED BOLIVAR COUNTY MISSISSIPPI.

ALTHOUGH THE DAMAGE IN CHICOT AND DESHA COUNTIES WAS RATED EF1...THE 
DAMAGE IN BOLIVAR COUNTY REACHED EF2. THUS...THE OVERALL RATING FOR 
THIS TORNADO IS EF2. THE TOTAL PATH LENGTH OF THE TORNADO WAS 41 
MILES...WHICH INCLUDED 8.3 MILES IN ARKANSAS AND 32.7 MILES IN 
MISSISSIPPI.

EF SCALE: THE ENHANCED FUJITA SCALE CLASSIFIES TORNADOES INTO THE
FOLLOWING CATEGORIES.

EF0...WEAK......65 TO 85 MPH
EF1...WEAK......86 TO 110 MPH
EF2...STRONG....111 TO 135 MPH
EF3...STRONG....136 TO 165 MPH
EF4...VIOLENT...166 TO 200MPH
