FOR THE 4TH MONTH IN 2009...RECORD-BREAKING RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED IN
MUCH OF ARKANSAS. FOR MANY STATIONS...OCTOBER 2009 WAS NOT ONLY THE
WETTEST OCTOBER ON RECORD...BUT ONE OF THE WETTEST MONTHS ON RECORD.

AT MANY OF THESE STATIONS...THE RECORD RAINFALL IN OCTOBER HAS
PUSHED THE YEARLY RAINFALL TOTAL OVER 60 INCHES...AND WILL ASSURE
THAT 2009 WILL BE ONE OF THE TEN WETTEST YEARS ON RECORD.
