A TORNADO FROM SATURDAY EVENING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. THE TORNADO
TRAVELED FROM 4.1 MILES EAST OF BOSTON WHICH IS LOCATED IN MADISON
COUNTY TO 1.4 MILES NORTHEAST OF MOUNT JUDEA IN NEWTON COUNTY. THE
PATH LENGTH WAS 18.6 MILES AND WAS RATED AS AN EF1 ON THE ENHANCED
FUJITA SCALE.

HUNDREDS OF TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN AND SEVERAL HOUSES AND VEHICLES
WERE DAMAGED FROM FALLING TREES. SOME OUTBUILDINGS WERE ALSO
DESTROYED.
