AN ADDITIONAL TORNADO...ASSOCIATED WITH THE STORMS ON WEDNESDAY
APRIL 10TH...HAS BEEN CONFIRMED IN LINCOLN COUNTY. THIS BRINGS THE
TOTAL FOR THE EVENT TO FOUR CONFIRMED TORNADOES.

OLIVE. THE ROOF OF A LOG HOUSE WAS REMOVED...AND THE HOUSE SHIFTED
OFF THE FOUNDATION. NUMEROUS OTHER HOUSES SUSTAINED AT LEAST MINOR
DAMAGE...INCLUDING A TREE DOWN ON ONE...A COVERED PORCH TORN FROM
ANOTHER...AND SEVERAL WITH SHINGLE DAMAGE. ALSO...A BOAT DOCK ALONG
THE RIVER WAS TURNED OVER AND DESTROYED. NUMEROUS TREES WERE SNAPPED
OR UPROOTED ALONG THE PATH.

TWO MOBILE HOMES WERE DESTROYED...ONE OF WHICH WAS SMASHED AGAINST
A TREE. A CHURCH HAD ROOF DAMAGE...ALLOWING WATER TO POUR INSIDE.
WINDOWS AND DOORS OF THIS CHURCH WERE ALSO BROKEN. A LARGE SHED COLLAPSED
ONTO LARGE FARM MACHINERY. TWO GRAIN BINS WERE DENTED. WALLS OF A
HOUSE WERE CRACKED. NUMEROUS HOUSES AND MOBILE HOMES RECEIVED ROOF
DAMAGE...WITH SOME TREES ALSO FALLING ONTO HOMES. SHEDS AND
OUTBUILDINGS WERE DESTROYED OR OVERTURNED. A WALL OF A FOUR-CAR
GARAGE WAS BLOWN IN. NUMEROUS TREES WERE SNAPPED OR
UPROOTED...INCLUDING SOME CYPRESS AND TUPELO TREES ALONG BAYOU
BARTHOLOMEW.

SUMMARY:
MOST OF THE DAMAGE WAS CLOSE TO THE SHORE LINE ON CROWN LAKE...BUT
SEVERAL HOUSES ALSO SUSTAINED DAMAGE ON NEARBY DIAMOND LAKE. IN
ALL...41 HOUSES WERE DAMAGED...WITH 3 OF THOSE BEING DESTROYED AND 8
SUSTAINING MAJOR DAMAGE. THE REMAINING 30 HOMES HAD LESSER AMOUNTS
OF DAMAGE. ONE INDIVIDUAL WAS INJURED AFTER A BRICK WALL COLLAPSED
INWARDLY.
