THE 70S AND 80S...MORE DAYS HAD BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES THAN NOT.
THE FIRST TWO WEEKS WERE THE WARMEST PERIOD...WITH TEMPERATURES
TOPPING OUT IN THE UPPER 80S. BY MID-MONTH...THE TREND HAD
REVERSED...WITH DAILY TEMPERATURES AVERAGING AROUND FIVE TO TEN
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR MUCH OF THE 16TH THROUGH THE 28TH. THERE
WAS A BRIEF WARMUP AT THE END OF THE MONTH BEFORE A STRONG STORM
SYSTEM MOVED THROUGH.

RAINFALL WAS PERIODIC THROUGHOUT THE MONTH...BUT BELOW THE 30-YEAR
AVERAGE. THERE WERE 12 DAYS WITH MEASURABLE RAINFALL...WHICH WAS THE
MOST SINCE 2009. THERE WERE 16 DAYS WITH RAINFALL...WHICH WAS THE
MOST SINCE 2004.
