ANOTHER WARM PERIOD...WITH HIGHS IN THE 80S DURING THE MIDDLE
PORTION OF THE MONTH. THE MONTH ENDED ON A COOL NOTE...WITH AVERAGE
TEMPERATURES BELOW NORMAL...AND THE EARLIEST FREEZE SINCE 2009. THIS
WAS THE FIRST OCTOBER FREEZE SINCE 2010.
