CONTINUED NORTHERLY AND NORTHWEST UPPER FLOW KEPT COLD AIR OVER
ARKANSAS DURING MOST OF THE MONTH. IN FACT...THE DEPARTURE FROM
NORMAL...OR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE AND 30-YEAR
NORMAL TEMPERATURE...WAS THE MOST NEGATIVE SINCE FEBRUARY OF 2010.
FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2011...FREEZING TEMPERATURES WERE RECORDED
DURING THE MONTH.

.MONTHLY TEMPERATURES...
THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS THE COLDEST SINCE 1996...AND THE 20TH

TEMPERATURES WERE RECORDED DURING THE MONTH.

THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE COLDEST SINCE 1996...AND THE
