Several historic events have occurred in Arkansas since 2006, and are a part of yearly summaries. Events such as the long track tornado (122 miles) of February 5, 2008...the devastating ice storm of January 26-28, 2009...the Albert Pike Flash Flood of June 11, 2010 and the Vilonia/Mayflower/El Paso Tornado of April 27, 2014 (the deadliest tornado since 1968) are included.
