THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL SPREAD ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA TONIGHT AND DISSIPATE
THURSDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 1
TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHWEST PANHANDLE AND
NORTHWEST SOUTH PLAINS. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED
FOR THAT AREA FROM LATE THIS EVENING TO THURSDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

WIND CHILL READINGS WILL DROP TO AROUND FIVE DEGREES BELOW ZERO
ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHWEST PANHANDLE INTO THE NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS EARLY
FRIDAY.

MORE SNOW IS EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY WITH
ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES EXPECTED FOR MUCH OF THE AREA. SOME
HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHWEST
PANHANDLE.
