THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

LIGHT SHOWERS OF SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE ARE POSSIBLE TONIGHT
ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING
PLAINS. ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT...BUT ROADWAYS
ACROSS THESE AREAS MAY BECOME SLICK.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

ANOTHER VERY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION
WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY WITH LIGHT SNOW CHANCES DEVELOPING
MAINLY OVER THE WESTERN SOUTH PLAINS AND SOUTHWEST PANHANDLE. SNOW
CHANCES WILL IMPROVE THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY...AND MAY LEAD TO
ACCUMULATING SNOW FOR MANY AREAS. WIND CHILL READINGS ALSO WILL
DROP NEAR OR BELOW ZERO THURSDAY NIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY. AND LIGHT
WINTRY PRECIPITATION MAY PERSIST INTO SATURDAY BEFORE TEMPERATURES
MODERATE.
