THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

FLOODING

AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN WILL FAVOR THE SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE AND
ROLLING PLAINS TODAY AS ONE OR MORE CONVECTIVE SYSTEMS CROSS THE
AREA. RAIN TOTALS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES COULD RESULT IN FLOODING OF
LOW LYING AREAS AND NEAR THE STEEPER TERRAIN ALONG THE CAPROCK
ESCARPMENT. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE
SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE EARLY THIS MORNING.
