THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

NON PRECIPITATION

A POWERFUL COLD FRONT WILL PLUNGE THROUGH THE REGION THIS EVENING
AHEAD OF STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS AND BLOWING DUST. WINDS WILL
INCREASE TO 25 TO 35 MPH...WITH GUSTS OF 45 TO 55 MPH. A WIND
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM MONDAY FOR ALL AREAS ON THE
CAPROCK. A FREEZE WARNING IS ALSO IN PLACE TONIGHT FOR PORTIONS OF
THE WESTERN AND NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS AS THESE LOCATIONS HAVE
ALREADY SURPASSED THEIR AVERAGE LAST FREEZE OCCURRENCE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

UNSEASONABLY COLD TEMPERATURES BY TUESDAY MORNING WILL LIKELY
CREATE A WIDESPREAD FREEZE. A FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR
TUESDAY MORNING FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE OUTLOOK AREA.
