THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AREAS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW EARLY THIS MORNING WILL GRADUALLY
DIMINISH THROUGH MIDDAY. ADDITIONAL SNOW TOTALS OF A DUSTING TO AN
INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN
EFFECT FOR THE SOUTHWEST TEXAS PANHANDLE AND NORTHWEST SOUTH
PLAINS THROUGH 10 AM.

IN ADDITION...WIND CHILL READINGS WILL DROP TO AROUND FIVE
DEGREES BELOW ZERO ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHWEST PANHANDLE INTO THE
NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY.

MOREOVER...ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW IS EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AND
FRIDAY WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE FOR MUCH OF
THE AREA. SOME HIGHER AMOUNTS MAY OCCUR ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHWEST
TEXAS PANHANDLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THE HEAVIER SNOW WILL DIMINISH BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
HOWEVER...LIGHT WINTRY PRECIPITATION MAY PERSIST LATE FRIDAY INTO
SATURDAY BEFORE TEMPERATURES MODERATE. THE PROBABILITY OF
WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW FROM SUNDAY ONWARD.
