THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

FLOODING.

THE PRESENCE OF CONTINUED RAINFALL AND SATURATED GROUNDS WILL
MAINTAIN THE THREAT FOR FLOODING ACROSS THE SOUTH PLAINS INTO THE
WESTERN ROLLING PLAINS TODAY AND TONIGHT. INTERMITTENT PERIODS OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL MAY OCCUR...QUICKLY RAISING WATER LEVELS
IN LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND PRODUCING LOCALIZED FLASH
FLOODING NEAR AND ALONG THE CAPROCK ESCARPMENT. A FLOOD WATCH
REMAINS IN PLACE FOR THE SOUTH PLAINS AND WESTERN ROLLING PLAINS
THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING NEAR THE TEXAS AND NEW MEXICO STATE LINE. OTHERWISE THE
PROBABILITY OF WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.
